The family of Virginia Giuffre, one of Jeffrey Epstein's main accusers, urged King Charles III to meet with the survivors during his upcoming state visit to the United States.
In a statement, her relatives stressed that this trip would take place shortly after the first anniversary of Virginia Giuffre's death, calling on the British monarch to listen directly to the victims and hear their testimonies.
They also thanked the king for taking into account the accusations against Prince Andrew, the monarch's brother, who was involved in the Epstein affair, and for stripping him of his official titles.
However, according to representatives of Buckingham Palace, such a meeting would not be possible at this stage, due to the ongoing investigations into the facts related to Jeffrey Epstein's network.
This request comes as the case continues to generate strong emotions and many questions, particularly regarding the responsibilities of the individuals involved.
King Charles' visit to the United States could thus revive media attention around this international scandal, which remains one of the most resounding of recent years.
