"The truth that some refuse to see"
The blatant and unjustified terrorist attacks and aggressions carried out by the Iranian regime against the Gulf countries are neither a beginning nor an end… as long as this regime remains in place.
The Iranian regime is today one of the main culprits behind the destabilization of the Arab and Muslim world. Its leaders have contributed to the destruction of Iraq, fueled sectarian conflicts in Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen, and exacerbated divisions between Sunnis and Shiites.
They supported and financed militias and extremist groups, whether Shiite or Sunni.
Today, when this regime targets civilians, infrastructure, airports and hotels in Gulf countries, particularly in the United Arab Emirates, the reality becomes clear: this regime represents a major threat to Arabs and Muslims.
But another truth also emerges: today, the reality is clear.
The Gulf countries have found support from sincere powers that stand by their side.
Yes, the truth must be told clearly: the United States, Israel and European countries – what some call “the West” – are today among those facing this danger alongside the Gulf.
And yet, where are the Arab and Islamic institutions? Their silence is striking.
Even more worrying, a portion of public opinion continues to fight the wrong battle, sometimes through ignorance, sometimes through ideology.
Enough illusions. Enough falsehoods.
It's time to have the courage to call things as they are.
It's time to move beyond decades of mistakes and confusion.
