The global phenomenon BTS is preparing to reconnect with its French fans. On July 17th and 18th, the seven members of the South Korean group (RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook) will perform at the Stade de France for two exceptional concerts. These will be their first performances in France in seven years. Both evenings are sold out, with nearly 160,000 spectators expected, confirming the group's immense popularity in France.
This tour also marks the reunion of the entire group after the completion of its members' military service in South Korea. For ARMY, the name of their fan community, these concerts are one of the major musical events of the year.
A strengthened relationship with the French public
Even during this long absence from the stage, BTS never completely disappeared from the French scene. Several members of the group have made trips to Paris in recent years to participate in fashion shows, advertising campaigns, or events organized by major French luxury brands.
These regular appearances helped maintain the connection with French fans. Paris became a favorite destination for several members, particularly in the fashion world, further strengthening ARMY's attachment to their group.
A major event for fans and the local economy
The expected crowds around the Stade de France extend far beyond the two concerts. Thousands of fans from all over France, as well as from many European countries, are expected in Saint-Denis. Hotels, restaurants, shops, and transportation should benefit from this surge in visitors.
As with the group's previous world tours, numerous events are also organized by fan communities before the concerts, making this BTS comeback a true cultural event as much as a musical one. After a seven-year wait, French ARMYs are preparing to experience two evenings that promise to be historic.
