Shortly before his death in November 2025, Eric Dane recorded an exclusive interview for the series Netflix Famous Last Words which he knew would never be broadcast during his lifetime. This interview, published after his death, contains a personal message addressed to the whole world and, above all, to his two daughters, Billie Beatrice Dane (15 years old) and Georgia Geraldine Dane (14 years old), whom he had with actress Rebecca Gayheart.

He begins by saying: “Billie and Georgia, these words are for you.” He then reminisces about family memories, including moments spent together at the beach, and shares four major lessons from his life:
