Vinicius Jr. is said to have died after the 2026 World Cup, assassinated by the CIA with the complicity of the Rothschild family, before being replaced by a lookalike tasked with continuing his career and fulfilling his advertising contracts. This is the incredible conspiracy theory that has been circulating for several days on social media, primarily in Brazil . Some internet users even claim to have discovered proof of this alleged substitution by comparing photographs of the footballer before and after the World Cup. A story completely devoid of evidence, to which aliens and reptilians are now being added.
The CIA, the Rothschilds, and a lookalike: Vinicius at the heart of a completely crazy theory
It all started on Brazilian social media, particularly TikTok, where several users claimed that the Real Madrid striker had mysteriously disappeared after the 2026 World Cup. According to this theory, the player was murdered and then replaced by a lookalike so that no one would notice his disappearance.
The Black Bond PTV account is notably circulating a version of events directly accusing the American secret services and the Rothschild family. According to this baseless claim, "the CIA, the Rothschilds, and the elites killed and replaced Vinicius after the World Cup." The alleged lookalike was then supposedly tasked with continuing the Brazilian's sporting and commercial activities, including fulfilling his advertising commitments.
No material evidence supports these accusations. Neither the player's alleged death, nor the existence of a lookalike, nor the involvement of the individuals and organizations named have been supported by even the slightest shred of proof.
Tattoos that were supposedly gone and a transformed face
Those who subscribe to this theory claim to have discovered physical differences between the Vinicius who participated in the World Cup and the one who has since appeared in the colors of Real Madrid and the Brazilian national team.
Their main argument concerns the player's tattoos. By comparing several photographs, some internet users claim that designs present on his thighs are absent from other pictures. They consider these supposed differences as proof that the real Vinicius has been replaced. However, no expert analysis has confirmed the disappearance of any of his tattoos. The photographic comparisons presented do not constitute proof of substitution.
Another element exploited by conspiracy theorists is that the footballer's face did indeed change over the summer. But this transformation has a very real explanation. As we explained in our article about Vinicius's new face , the Brazilian underwent cosmetic surgery on his chin in Goiânia in July.
This procedure, intended to reshape her face and accentuate her jawline, significantly altered her appearance. Photographs taken after the treatment had already provoked numerous reactions. This physical transformation has now been used to fuel the most outlandish theories.
Aliens have also reportedly abducted Vinicius and Neymar!
The story takes an even more outlandish turn with the emergence of another version involving extraterrestrials. Some internet users are linking Vinicius's alleged disappearance to the predictions of Vó Bahiana, a Brazilian psychic who spoke of an alien invasion during the World Cup.
In a video, she recounted having dreamed of spaceships arriving at a Miami stadium . "I clearly saw how they were taking the players in the first ship that arrived ," she explained.
She also described the appearance of a gigantic spaceship that allegedly abducted thousands of people, amidst screams and tears.
Some believers in this story have linked these predictions to Vinicius's supposed disappearance. Neymar is also mentioned in some versions, which now refer to an invasion of reptilian aliens. Obviously, no such abduction occurred during the World Cup.
Meanwhile, Vinicius continues to play and score.
Despite the circulation of these rumors, Real Madrid and the player's entourage are paying them no particular attention. No official statement has been released to respond to these baseless accusations.
For his part, Vinicius continued his career as normal. On Tuesday, September 29, the forward played in Brazil's 4-2 victory against Australia in Brisbane. He contributed to his team's third goal before scoring the fourth himself from the penalty spot in the 80th minute. The following day, Carlo Ancelotti publicly reaffirmed his confidence in the player, despite a difficult start to the season with Real Madrid.
The rumor therefore has no proven basis. The alleged evidence presented relies primarily on photographic comparisons and fanciful interpretations, whereas the transformation of the player's face has a documented explanation.
