Body camera footage shows a girl being rescued by helicopter from her family's flooded home in Uvalde County, Texas. At least two people have died in the floods that have struck central Texas.
The footage, captured by a camera mounted on a rescuer's vest, shows the moment he reached a family of three, accompanied by their dogs, who were sheltering in a destroyed house as water flooded the surrounding area. The rescuer first hoisted the little girl to safety, informing the rest of the family that a second helicopter would come to pick them up.
These floods are affecting central Texas, a region already devastated last summer by flash floods that claimed the lives of more than 130 people. The current death toll stands at at least two.
