Louane officially opens a new chapter in her career. The singer announced the release of her sixth studio album, Watch Out, scheduled for November 27, 2026. The record will arrive a little over a year after her participation in Eurovision and two years after Solo, her previous studio album.
Pre-orders for Watch Out will open on September 14. A special timeline for the artist: the album will be released the day after her 30th birthday, Louane having been born on November 26, 1996.
“Watch Out,” an album under the sign of freedom
Louane had begun revealing the outlines of this new project over recent months. At the end of August, she notably presented her universe with a clear intention not to confine the record to a too rigid artistic direction.
“The artistic direction is: I’m 30, I do what I like”, the singer explained, before summarizing her approach: “No manual. No big explanation. Just music.”
A freedom she also claims in the face of social media mechanisms and the constant search for the track likely to go viral. “I don’t want to try to find something viral just to make something viral”, she explained.
“Conduire” launched this new chapter
The first elements of Watch Out were revealed as early as spring. On March 27, Louane released Conduire, presented as the first single from her sixth album.
The track addresses a painful relationship and uses driving as a metaphor for a controlling relationship. Its promotion already contained an important clue: the date November 27 appeared on a fake driver’s license distributed around the single. It indeed corresponded to the release date of the upcoming album.
Louane also described Watch Out as a particularly personal record. “It’s an album that is very vulnerable”, she confided in spring, specifying that its title should be understood as an invitation to be careful with her, “with gentleness, with attention”.
A first studio album since Eurovision
Watch Out will especially be Louane’s first studio album since her Eurovision 2025 adventure. On May 17, 2025, in Basel, she represented France with Maman, a particularly intimate song dedicated to her late mother and also referencing her own daughter.
Announced among the favorites, Louane ultimately finished in 7th place at Eurovision. The professional juries placed her third, but the public vote pushed the French representative down in the final ranking.
A few weeks earlier, the presentation of Maman had benefited from exceptional exposure: Louane revealed her song at Stade de France, in front of about 80,000 spectators, during the Six Nations Tournament.
A new stage after Eurovision and ten years of career
The day after Eurovision, Louane explained that this experience profoundly transformed her. “This adventure made me a new woman”, she notably confided after the final.
A little over a year later, the singer is definitively turning the page on the contest to return to her personal discography. Watch Out will also accompany a symbolic year during which Louane celebrates ten years of career.
After Chambre 12 in 2015, Louane in 2017, Joie de vivre in 2020, Sentiments in 2022 and Solo in 2024, her sixth studio album will be released on November 27, 2026. On the eve of her 30th birthday, Louane now intends to make Watch Out the starting point of a new period in her career.
