Cycling through the landscapes, along the Loire River and catching sight of the Château de Chambord: this is just one of the experiences offered by the Loire à Vélo route. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, France's longest river has been explored by bicycle for over 20 years.

Cycling through Chambord Castle: an unmissable stop
Along the way, you'll discover stunning river scenery, the famous Loire Valley châteaux, charming villages, nature parks, and remarkable gardens. Between Tours and Orléans, this route continues to captivate cyclists. To make the experience even easier, a new "Loire à Vélo pass" has been launched, allowing you to start and return your bike in one of four selected cities. Available digitally via the Tours City Pass app, it lets you plan a two- to five-day all-inclusive trip (excluding accommodation and dinners), starting at €89. This initiative is inspired by the City Pass model and is a first in France for this type of cycling route. For your itinerary, you can choose between Tours, Amboise, Blois, and Orléans.
