An immersive store for fans from all over the world
Located in a shopping center near Tokyo Station, the Dragon Ball Store was unveiled by Toei Animation to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the saga. The store impresses with its immersive design: a ceiling decorated in the franchise's colors, life-size statues of Son Goku in various transformations, and a wide range of merchandise, from keychains and t-shirts to pins featuring iconic characters.
This opening comes a few months after the death of Akira Toriyama, creator of the original manga published in 1984 in Weekly Shonen Jump. This new venue pays tribute to his work, which continues to influence popular culture through new anime series, video games, and merchandise.

Since its inception, Dragon Ball has captivated an international audience, with over 260 million copies of the manga sold worldwide as of November 2024, according to publisher Shueisha.
