Presidential election 2027: Gabriel Attal organizes a major rally in Paris at the end of May

Gabriel Attal will hold a public meeting on May 30 at the Porte de Versailles exhibition center in Paris, as part of his preparations for the 2027 presidential election. This information has been confirmed by his party, Renaissance. The former Prime Minister, now Secretary General of the movement, has been very active in recent weeks.

He is scheduled to publish a book at the end of April and participate in several trips and public meetings across the country. Several events are planned in various cities, including Lyon, Bordeaux, and Strasbourg, to build his support network. Visits are also planned to municipalities recently won by his party in the local elections.

Rivalries and realignment in the center in view of 2027

In the National Assembly, Gabriel Attal continues his parliamentary work, supporting several bills, notably on territorial organization and labor on May 1st. Looking ahead to 2027, the former head of government faces competition from other figures in the centrist bloc, particularly Édouard Philippe, who is better positioned in voting intentions according to opinion polls.

Discussions are underway between several centrist parties to coordinate their strategy. A meeting between the leaders of these parties is scheduled for mid-April to discuss preparations for the presidential election.
