Ahead of Tuesday night's match against Liverpool at Anfield, Paris Saint-Germain observed a moment of silence. Club president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, accompanied by the entire PSG squad, paid tribute to the victims of the Hillsborough tragedy, one of the most devastating events in English football history.

An emotional tribute at Anfield

The Parisian delegation also paid their respects at the memorial dedicated to Diogo Jota, Liverpool player, and his brother André Silva, who died in a car accident.

A minute of silence and black armbands

Tonight, an official tribute will also be paid at Anfield. A minute's silence will be observed before the start of the match in memory of the victims of the Hillsborough tragedy. The players will also wear black armbands throughout the game as a sign of mourning and support.
