Purchasing or leasing a used electric vehicle from a professional dealer will qualify for energy savings certificates starting September 1st. This new measure will allow individuals to benefit from a subsidy of approximately €337. This amount aims to make electric mobility more accessible for French households wishing to make the switch without opting for a new model.
Up to 2.360 euros for home-based professionals
Home care and personal assistance professionals will benefit from a much more advantageous scheme. These professionals, for whom travel is central to their work, will be eligible for assistance of up to €2.360. This significant boost is designed to support the greening of their vehicle fleets.
This extension of the Energy Savings Certificates (CEE) scheme to the used car market comes at a time when the prices of new electric vehicles remain high. The government is counting on this lever to accelerate the energy transition of the national vehicle fleet, while offering a more financially accessible solution for French citizens.
