Lila Debbouze, the daughter of Jamel Debbouze and Mélissa Theuriau, successfully passed her blind audition on Saturday, August 22nd, on The Voice Kids. The 14-year-old impressed both Matt Pokora and Patrick Fiori before choosing to continue the competition with Fiori.
For her audition in front of the four TF1 coaches, Lila performed "Hopelessly Devoted to You," the famous song by Olivia Newton-John from Grease. Her performance quickly won over Matt Pokora, then Patrick Fiori, who both turned their chairs. The young contestant ultimately decided to join Patrick Fiori's team for the next stage of the competition.
A passion already well established
Lila Debbouze is no newcomer to the arts. Passionate about musical theatre, she has been singing, dancing, and acting for several years and has already participated in numerous shows. She also attends a Parisian school specializing in arts education for young people.
Jamel Debbouze had recently revealed that his daughter dreamed of a career combining singing, dancing, and musical theatre. With this successful first audition on The Voice Kids , Lila is now taking another step forward under the watchful eyes of her parents and with Patrick Fiori as her coach.
