The former President of the Republic, François Hollande, voted this Sunday in Corrèze, in Tulle, where he is a PS candidate under the banner of the New Popular Front. By running for the legislative elections, Hollande made a notable return to politics, following in the footsteps of Valéry Giscard d'Estaing who, after his presidential mandate, had tried to become a deputy again in his historic stronghold.
For François Hollande, it is a return to his roots, to the region which has long been his political stronghold. By embarking on this campaign, he hopes to mobilize his former supporters and revive the confidence of Corrèze voters.
