David Yosef, Israel's chief rabbi, declared that the Palestinians "are not a people" and "have no rights," during a speech delivered at the Gush Katif Museum in West Jerusalem.

The remarks were made on August 22 during a public address at the Gush Katif Museum, located in West Jerusalem. David Yosef, Israel's Chief Rabbi, denied the very existence of Palestinians as a people, stating that they "have no rights."

The religious leader went further, claiming Gaza and cities in the occupied West Bank in the name of the Jewish people. He also called for the destruction of Gaza and the establishment of Jewish settlements in the territory.

These statements come amid extreme tensions between Israel and the Palestinians, while the situation in Gaza remains marked by continuous Israeli military operations and a humanitarian crisis documented by several international organizations.
