The weather forecast for Saturday is for particularly summery conditions across much of France, with abundant sunshine and significantly rising temperatures. Under the influence of a warm air mass from the Iberian Peninsula, the atmosphere will become almost summery across three-quarters of the country, with temperatures often between 26 and 30°C in the afternoon, and reaching 32 to 33°C locally in the southwest.
Sunshine will prevail from morning to evening, despite some hazy clouds between northern Brittany and the Belgian border. Near the English Channel, a northeasterly wind will maintain slightly milder conditions. In the mountains, a few cumulus clouds may develop in the afternoon, but no significant thunderstorms are expected.
Conditions are looking ideal for the first departures of the Pentecost weekend, particularly on the Atlantic beaches, the Gulf of Lion, and the French Riviera. The southwest, the Rhône Valley, and the central regions will also enjoy very warm and sunny weather, perfect for outdoor activities.
