Friday is shaping up to be a particularly pleasant day across much of France, with plenty of sunshine and temperatures rising significantly. From Nouvelle-Aquitaine to the northeast, including the Mediterranean basin, the weather will remain mostly bright, despite some increased cloud cover near the Belgian and German borders and at the foot of the Pyrenees.
Temperatures continue to rise, with 20°C expected in Paris, 21°C in Strasbourg, 23°C in Lyon, and up to 25°C locally in the southwest. It will feel almost like summer in some areas, with temperatures often 3 to 5°C above the seasonal average.
A few isolated thunderstorms may develop late in the day near the Pyrenees, the Massif Central, and in the northwest. These isolated events should not spoil what will otherwise be a day largely dominated by sunshine and mild temperatures.
