This Friday is shaping up to be particularly pleasant with abundant sunshine across almost 80% of the country. Temperatures continue to rise, reaching levels more typical of early summer, especially in the south where the thermometer climbs to 25°C in Toulouse and Montpellier, up to 26°C in Bordeaux, and even 28°C locally in the Mediterranean hinterland.
The only drawback is that the northwest remains under the influence of a more humid air mass. Between Brittany, Normandy, and the northern Pays de la Loire region, clouds are more prevalent and limit sunshine. Elsewhere, the weather remains dry and bright, although some cloud cover may pass through in the afternoon in the Île-de-France and Hauts-de-France regions.
There is a significant temperature difference between morning and afternoon, particularly from the central to the northeast and in the south. These differences often reach 15°C, requiring people to adjust their clothing throughout the day. This widespread mildness, well above seasonal averages, confirms the arrival of very early spring weather across the country.
