M6 Hanouna

While Cyril Hanouna presented last night the last of TPMP!, the M6 group is delighted with the upcoming arrival of the presenter within its channels, planned for September. David Larramedy, president of the group, expressed his satisfaction during a conference at the professional forum of the Séries Mania festival in Lille, declaring: "Cyril Hanouna is a talent like almost none other on TV anymore. In his genre, he's the last big TV star. Afterwards, yes, there were some slip-ups, things about which we completely disagree. We told him so.. "

Cyril Hanouna and M6, a marriage that has caused a lot of talk

Announced at the end of February, the collaboration between Cyril Hanouna and the M6 group has already generated a lot of discussion, whether during clashes with the group's presenters, such as Karine Le Marchand and Bruno Guillon, or within the Journalists' Societies (SDJ) of M6 and RTL. These have expressed their vigilance regarding the integration of the presenter, recalling that the management had assured that Cyril Hanouna would not venture into political or polemical territory. Guarantees have been provided, such as the implementation of a slight delay in the broadcast, control over the running of the shows and particular attention to the choice of collaborators and columnists.

In response to these controversies, David Larramendy reiterated that Cyril Hanouna will host two daily entertainment programs: a pre-evening talk show on W9 and a new afternoon show on Fun Radio. These programs will focus on entertainment, moving away from the political content that characterized some of the host's previous shows.

The M6 president also affirmed that the group's vocation was not to engage in political content, emphasizing that its main shareholder, the German group Bertelsmann, does not get involved in politics. He insisted that M6 has no plans to change this direction in the short or medium term.

Asked about the early termination of TPMP!David Larramendy said that discussions had taken place, and that the objective was now to focus on preparing the new programs planned for the start of the school year.
