BFMTV and Le Figaro are joining forces to cover the upcoming presidential election. The two media groups have announced the launch of "2027 Le Grand Oral BFMTV-Le Figaro," a weekly program featuring leading political figures running for the Élysée Palace. This unprecedented partnership brings together the 24-hour news channel, which boasts 12 million daily viewers, and the leading national daily newspaper, which recorded 257,7 million website visits in January 2026, according to ACPM.
A live Sunday appointment
The new program will be broadcast live every Sunday from the BFMTV studios. It will also be simultaneously streamed on Le Figaro TV, providing dual exposure on both platforms. This programming will begin in the 2026/2027 season, several months before the presidential election scheduled for spring 2027.
A strategic platform for candidates
This strategic alliance reflects a shared desire to influence the public debate as the major election approaches. By combining BFMTV's television audience and Le Figaro's digital reach, the two media outlets intend to establish themselves as a key event in the presidential campaign, offering candidates a platform with significant media impact.
