Gabriel Attal unveils his campaign priorities for 2027

In an interview with Le Parisien, Gabriel Attal outlined the main points of his future presidential campaign after officially announcing his candidacy for 2027. The former Prime Minister stated that he wants to focus his project around four "key areas": education, wages, borders, and artificial intelligence.

The secretary general of Renaissance advocates, in particular, an educational reform focused on empowering teachers, integrating artificial intelligence from middle school onwards, and reducing class sizes. On the economic front, he aims to reduce the gap between gross and net pay through social welfare and unemployment insurance reforms.

A strategy geared towards the central bloc

Gabriel Attal also reaffirmed his commitment to promoting a "labor preference" in immigration policy and announced a comprehensive artificial intelligence training program for French employees. He asserted his desire to defend an optimistic vision for the country in the face of what he termed "declinism."

In this interview, the former head of government also discusses his relationship with Édouard Philippe, believing that a "calm" competition must take place within the central bloc in order to avoid a duel between the National Rally and La France Insoumise in the second round of the presidential election.
