A month after the return of "Recherche appartement ou maison" (Apartment or House Search) in a significantly revamped format, M6 continues the adventure without Stéphane Plaza . The channel will broadcast a second new episode on Thursday, October 1st at 21:10 pm, featuring Thibault Chanel, Sandra Viricel, and Camille Duquennoy . Three new families will be followed in their search, in Paris, around Aix-en-Provence , and in the Lille region.
The program returned to the airwaves on September 3rd after an absence of more than a year and a half, with a new team of real estate professionals. The new format of "Looking for an Apartment or House" had been unveiled before its launch.
An apartment in Paris to prepare for the future of their three children
For this second episode, Thibault Chanel will accompany Richard and Sandrine, both 50, who live in Pau. The couple wants to invest in an apartment in Paris to help their three children. Their eldest son, Angelo, 21 , is currently studying fashion in Paris and rents a small apartment in the 18th arrondissement. He would like to continue living in the capital, which has led his parents to consider a family real estate investment.
Richard and Sandrine have decided to use a real estate investment company (SCI) to buy an apartment that will initially house Angelo, but will also serve his two brothers in the years to come. Their requirements are precise: a charming house, a large garden for Nadine, a spacious living room that can accommodate Lionel's piano, and enough room to host their entire family . The couple has already visited numerous properties without finding the ideal one. One constraint further complicates their search: their future home must be located within twenty minutes of their daughter's house . Sandra Viricel will therefore try to get a property project moving again after it has been stalled for several months.
In the North, Laureen and David finally want to live under the same roof
The third search will take Camille Duquennoy to the Hauts-de- France region . Laureen, 31, and David, 41, currently live apart, between Bailleul, near Lille, and Belgium . Laureen is a hairdresser and raises her two children in Bailleul. David works in public works in Belgium and also owns two horses. For over a year, their daily lives have been dictated by the miles and trips necessary to be together. The couple now wants to buy a house so they can finally live together. But the project must also allow David to keep his two horses and, eventually, to welcome his parents.
They are therefore looking for a house in the countryside, with enough land for the horses, enough space for the whole family to gather, and located near Bailleul . Numerous criteria, plus a limited budget. Camille Duquennoy will have to try to find a property that meets all these requirements.

This October 1st episode will be the second new episode of the revamped version of " Recherche appartement ou maison" (Apartment or House Hunt). Upon its return on September 3rd, the show drew 1,494 million viewers, representing 9,2% of the audience , allowing M6 to rank third for the evening. The ratings for the return of "Recherche appartement ou maison" without Stéphane Plaza were closely watched.
