Two adventurers narrowly escaped death after triggering a massive avalanche while off-piste skiing in the Val Venosta region of South Tyrol, Italy.
The two skiers managed to escape unharmed, fleeing at the last second. According to reports, they were skiing off marked trails, a risky and often prohibited practice. Italian authorities are currently trying to identify them, as they could face criminal prosecution.
