Actor James Van Der Beek, known for his role as Dawson Leery in the series Dawson, has left its mark on generations of viewers. Broadcast from 1998 to 2003The series followed the lives of teenagers in the fictional small town of Capeside. During those years, James Van Der Beek worked alongside Katy Holmes, who played the character of Joey Potter, Dawson's childhood friend and great love.
Following his passing, the actress shared a touching message to pay tribute to James Van Der Beek. On Instagram, she posted:
