Mimie Mathy speaks of health problems: "I can no longer walk"

Mimie Mathy has confirmed that her health problems are now directly impacting her daily life. In an interview with a Cinema-Television-Review, the 68-year-old actress, known since 1997 for her leading role in Josephine, guardian angel, says he now has great difficulty getting around: " I can't walk anymore. She also denied the most alarming rumors, stating that she was neither paralyzed for life nor dying.

A disability that is changing in nature

She explains that she grew up with her difference, supported by her family and friends, but acknowledges that the loss of independence is harder to accept. She says she has to cope with a greater dependence, without dramatizing or denying the reality.

Long-standing back problems

Mimie Mathy had previously mentioned several back surgeries, notably related to herniated discs. She had also spoken of cauda equina syndrome, a serious neurological condition that can cause motor and sensory disturbances. These medical histories partly explain the physical fragility she describes today.

"Josephine" adapts

The series Josephine, guardian angel The project is not halted, however.
