Invited on Sunday to France 2 for the municipal election night presented by Léa Salamé and Laurent Delahousse, Prisca Thévenot seemed to have forgotten Édouard Philippe when it came time to mention him, causing laughter on set before an attempt to recover.
This scene is all the more surprising given that the MP has known the former Prime Minister for a long time. Prisca Thévenot joined En Marche before becoming one of its spokespeople in 2020. As early as the 2017 legislative elections, when she was an LREM candidate in Seine-Saint-Denis, Édouard Philippe, then Prime Minister, came to support her in Blanc-Mesnil between the two rounds.
Prisca Thévenot's hesitation when discussing Édouard Philippe, re-elected in Le Havre, is therefore surprising.
