On Monday morning, Entrevue reviews the results of the municipal elections and the main lessons learned from the vote across the cities of France.
In Châlons-en-Champagne, incumbent mayor Benoist Apparu was re-elected with 34,17% of the vote after a very close four-way race. He narrowly edged out National Rally candidate Achille Bisiaux (31,17%) and Rudy Namur, who led a united left-wing list (29,53%), while Gabriel Michel trailed far behind with 5,12%. This victory allows the former minister to retain the mayoralty he has held since 2014.
