Just months before the presidential election, Jordan Bardella is reorganizing the youth wing of the National Rally. The RN president has appointed 25-year-old Tony Bonalair as national director of the National Rally Youth, tasked with mobilizing young people behind Marine Le Pen.

The announcement was made on Saturday, August 29, at Jordan Bardella's political comeback event in Châlons-en-Champagne. Tony Bonalair succeeds MEP Pierre-Romain Thionnet, who welcomed his arrival and stated that the RNJ was now "in good hands."

Mobilizing young people behind Marine Le Pen

Jordan Bardella has given the new head of the RNJ a roadmap clearly geared towards 2027: "activist animation, training and structuring" of a movement claiming 25,000 members, as well as the mobilization of students and young professionals in support of Marine Le Pen's candidacy.

Tony Bonalair immediately stated his objective: "I will give everything alongside the immense National Rally Youth (RNJ) to ensure the victory of the people's candidate, Marine Le Pen," he declared. A finance graduate and former bank advisor, he joined the National Rally at a young age before becoming head of youth affairs in Seine-et-Marne and then a parliamentary assistant at the National Assembly.

Elected as an opposition municipal councillor in Fontenay-Trésigny in March 2026, Tony Bonalair thus takes the helm of the RNJ at a time when the National Rally is fully entering the presidential campaign and seeking to strengthen its activist mobilization among younger people.
