The home of singer Calogero , located in Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine), was burglarized between Friday evening and Saturday afternoon while the artist was away. The thieves made off with tens of thousands of euros worth of goods, including jewelry, leather goods, a luxury watch, and two electric guitars estimated at around 7,000 euros each, according to information reported by Le Parisien.
The thieves allegedly entered by climbing the façade to force a window on the first floor. Once inside, they managed to locate a safe hidden in the dressing room and took around 30 euros in cash, thus adding a significant financial component to the damage. The break-in was discovered by a domestic employee, who alerted the police. Investigators from the Hauts-de-Seine judicial police sub-directorate (SDPJ 000) have been assigned the investigation in order to find the perpetrators of this meticulously orchestrated theft.
This burglary is part of a series of thefts targeting personalities in the Paris region in recent months. In December, former PSG player Ezequiel Lavezzi was the victim of a burglary in Neuilly-sur-Seine. A few weeks earlier, Martin Bouygues' son and his wife also had their home ransacked for a loot exceeding 50 euros. In October, another fashion figure was robbed of 000 euros worth of luxury items. Finally, in December 150, singer Vitaa was burgled in Rueil-Malmaison, an attack marked by violent threats against her family.
