Sodexo secures a global contract with Meta for the restoration of its sites

The French catering group Sodexo has announced it has won a global contract with Meta to provide catering services across all of the American technology giant's sites. The agreement covers more than 130 locations in over 30 countries, including headquarters, campuses, data centers, and conference centers. According to Sodexo, this is one of the largest contracts in its history, secured following a highly competitive international tender process.

This collaboration also marks Meta's arrival among the group's new clients. The announcement comes as Sodexo unveils its new development strategy for 2030, designed to strengthen its position in an increasingly competitive market.

A stimulus plan to accelerate growth

Chief Executive Officer Thierry Delaporte presented the "Shift and Grow 2030" plan, which aims to achieve internal growth of over 5% and an operating margin of over 5% by 2030. The first phase, planned for the 2026 and 2027 financial years, will be dedicated to restoring competitiveness, before accelerating growth and improving profitability from 2028 onwards.

To achieve these objectives, Sodexo intends to strengthen its relationships with its clients, simplify its operating model, and develop a performance-driven culture. The group anticipates organic growth of between 2% and 3% in 2027, with an estimated operating margin of between 3,2% and 3,4%.

In parallel, Sodexo will significantly increase its investments. The group plans approximately one billion euros in exceptional investments between 2026 and 2030 to modernize its technological tools, optimize its procurement, and transform its organization. This will be supplemented by 100 million euros in recurring operating expenses intended to strengthen its commercial capabilities and support its development plan.
