Axel Allétru Brain Institute Check

He takes on a series of completely crazy challenges. Athlete Axel Allétru has completed a crazy adventure: covering the 70 kilometers of Paris-Roubaix Saturday, April 12, 2025, for a good cause. Having become paraplegic at the age of 20 following a motocross accident, he chose to turn adversity into motivation.

Handisport swimming champion, then rally-raid driver, winner of the Dakar 2020 (in a buggy) ahead of able-bodied people, Axel Allétru found in this Paris-Roubaix a new challenge allowing self-improvement, sharing and inclusion.

Objective: to mobilize partners and the general public to raise funds for the Brain Institute. It is done, through his project #JePeux2025, €10 was raised to fight diseases such as Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS).

Sporting and solidarity challenge

Each kilometer represented one euro donated to the Brain Institute. High-level athlete and speaker Axel Allétru crossed the finish line in tribute to his friend Olivier Goy, who now suffers from this disease. It was a moment of great emotion. Athletes, influencers, journalists, associations, and other citizens joined the movement.

“Usually, I complete my challenges alone, and it was important for me to bring people together and make this adventure a strong moment of cohesion, inclusion and self-improvement. We were a platoon of 160 people, not everyone practices cycling, it was a great moment to prove to ourselves that we are all capable of achieving challenges, and what's more for a good cause”, explained the paraplegic athlete.

His film on April 17 on Canal+

Axel Allétru is multiplying his projects. For him, the message is simple: nothing is impossible. After screenings in theaters, Canal+ is offering his film " Holeshot", directed by Stéphanie Pillonca and Fabien Bouillaud, this Thursday, April 17 at 21 p.m..
