Jordan Bardella has received more than one million euros in royalties from Fayard since 2024. These amounts appear in the updated version of the declaration of interests and assets of the president of the National Rally, published on August 14 by the High Authority for Transparency in Public Life.
According to figures detailed by the HATVP, the MEP received €88,068 in 2024, upon the publication of * Ce que je cherche *, and then €640,147 in 2025, the year of the release of *Ce que veulent les Français *. Since the beginning of 2026, his royalties have reached €303,963.
A third book is in preparation
Both books have been very successful commercially. *What I'm Looking For* has sold over 230,000 copies, while * What the French Want* has reportedly reached around 90,000 sales. Together, the two books have sold nearly 320,000 copies. Jordan Bardella also announced in July that he is preparing a third book outlining his vision for governing France in 2027.
These publishing revenues are in addition to the remuneration received by Jordan Bardella for his role as a Member of the European Parliament. According to his declarations to the HATVP (High Authority for Transparency in Public Life), this amounted to €120,234 in 2023 and €72,792 in 2024.
