TF1+ and the TF1 Group's channels will now be available directly on Netflix in France. The announcement was made official this Thursday at the TF1 Upfront, in the presence of Greg Peters, CEO of Netflix, and Rodolphe Belmer, CEO of the TF1 Group. The distribution agreement between Netflix and the TF1 Group takes effect this Friday, June 19. Netflix subscribers in France will be able to access TF1+ from their Netflix platform, as well as the TF1 Group's live channels.

A world first for Netflix and TF1

The TF1 Group is presenting this launch as a world first. For the first time, the content and channels of a major French media group are being directly integrated into the Netflix ecosystem through a distribution partnership. This new feature is available to Netflix subscribers in France. They will be able to watch TF1+ programs without leaving Netflix, and will also have access to the TF1 Group's live channels.

The announcement was made on stage by Greg Peters, CEO of Netflix, alongside Rodolphe Belmer, CEO of the TF1 Group. Their joint presence at the TF1 Upfront 2026 underscores the strategic importance of this partnership for both groups.

TF1+ gains a new showcase among Netflix subscribers

With this agreement, TF1+ gains direct exposure to Netflix subscribers in France. TF1's streaming platform becomes accessible within an environment already heavily used for video content consumption. For Netflix, this integration adds French television and live programming to its service in France. For TF1, it expands the distribution of TF1+ and its channels beyond its own platforms.

Launching on June 19th

The agreement announced on June 18th takes effect on Friday, June 19th. From that date, Netflix subscribers in France will be able to access TF1+ and the TF1 Group channels directly through Netflix.
