A serious road accident occurred on Tuesday night on the A46 motorway, northeast of Lyon. Two trucks collided in the southbound direction, near the town of Mionnay, resulting in one death and one injury.
The accident occurred shortly after 2 a.m. when a truck struck the rear of another vehicle traveling on the same road. The exact circumstances of the collision are still under investigation. Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene to assist those involved.
