SpaceX recorded $7,81 billion in revenue for the period, exceeding analysts' expectations of $6,93 billion. This represents a 92% increase compared to June of the previous year, a surge that far surpasses market projections.
The company nevertheless posted a net loss of $541 million. These results come in a particular context: SpaceX's stock price had fallen after its IPO, making this first earnings release all the more closely scrutinized by investors.
