With the summer holidays approaching, the Air France-KLM group wants to reassure travelers. Faced with questions that have arisen in recent months regarding fuel supplies at some airports, Air France, KLM, and Transavia confirm that they are able to maintain their full flight schedule throughout the summer of 2026.
The group plans to operate nearly 2.200 daily flights to more than 320 destinations worldwide. Its CEO, Benjamin Smith, stated that all passengers who had booked travel this summer would be transported as scheduled.
A commercial offer to attract travelers
To support this message of confidence, Air France, KLM, and Transavia are launching a promotional campaign that includes free ticket changes. At Air France and KLM, this flexibility applies to long-haul bookings made between June 3 and 17 departing from France, regardless of the travel date or class chosen.
For its part, Transavia will offer its Flex option free of charge on all its flights departing from mainland France between June 3 and 9. This option allows passengers to change their booking free of charge up to two hours before departure.
The group also clarified that no fuel price increases would be passed on to tickets already purchased. This guarantee is intended to reassure customers in a context marked by economic uncertainties and persistent tensions in certain energy markets.
