The world number 1, Jannik Sinner, brilliantly validated his ticket for his first final at Roland-Garros by winning against Novak Djokovic in three sets (6-4, 7-5, 7-6) this Friday evening on the Philippe-Chatrier court.
Sinner, 23, dominated the match thanks to his command of the baseline and consistent shooting power. Despite a few attempts, the Italian remained solid, wrapping up the match in just over three hours.
An impressive series
With this victory, Jannik Sinner extends his unbeaten streak to 20 matches in a Grand Slam since the 2024 US Open. He has not dropped a single set during this edition of Roland-Garros.
On Sunday, he will face Carlos Alcaraz, the defending champion, for a highly anticipated final between the world's two best players. Alcaraz qualified earlier in the day after Lorenzo Musetti retired in the semi-finals.
Jannik Sinner will attempt to win his first Roland-Garros.
