Béatrice Ardisson, DJ, musician, and sound designer, has died at the age of 62 from cancer. The announcement was made this Thursday by her children, who stated that she was " She passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loved ones.
Béatrice Ardisson, the former wife of Thierry Ardisson, whom she married in 1988 and with whom she had three children before their separation in 2010, retained his surname as her stage name. The television host and producer also passed away in July 2025, following a battle with cancer.
A unique career spanning music, television and sound design
Born Béatrice Loustalan, she had built an atypical and recognized career in the world of sound design. A sound engineer, composer and DJ, she worked in music, television and the creation of soundscapes for cultural and event venues.
She is notably responsible for more than thirty musical compilations, including the eight volumes of The Music of Paris Last, associated with the eponymous program broadcast on France Télévisions. These projects have contributed to defining an elegant and eclectic sonic identity, blending electronic music, lounge and international influences.
Before making her mark in the music industry, Béatrice Ardisson also worked as a stylist for the Kenzo fashion house, a pivotal experience in shaping her overall artistic approach. She then founded her own label, Ardisong, to develop and produce her projects independently.
From her marriage to Thierry Ardisson, three children were born: Manon, Ninon, and Gaston. Despite her low media profile, Béatrice Ardisson remained a respected and influential figure in the music and sound creation world.
