Wheel of Fortune will take on a new dimension for one night only. M6 will broadcast a special celebrity edition of the game show, hosted by Éric Antoine, on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 9:10 pm, featuring nine personalities playing for charities. Roselyne Bachelot, Gil Alma, Sophie Davant, Nelson Monfort, Arié Elmaleh, and Miss France are among those who will spin the famous wheel.
The show, usually broadcast daily, will have a special prime-time edition created for the occasion. Éric Antoine, who hosts numerous game shows on M6 and has also taken over hosting duties for The Price Is Right , will be the focus of this evening, with the winnings going to several charities.
9 celebrities gathered around Eric Antoine
For this special broadcast, Roselyne Bachelot, Gil Alma, and Miss France will form a trio. They will perform for MOS, Musique Opéra Santé, the ABA association, and Les Bonnes Fées.
Marine Leonardi, Emy, and Arié Elmaleh will be supporting the Gustave Roussy Foundation, Doctors Without Borders , and the Princess Margot Association. Arié Elmaleh is now a regular face on M6's entertainment programs, having also been part of the cast of the last season of Les Traîtres.
Finally, Nelson Monfort, Sophie Davant and Jérôme Anthony will play for the Gaby Association, FAST France and Tout le monde contre le cancer respectively.
Sophie Davant will therefore return to M6 a few months after also appearing on "Les Traîtres" ( The Traitors) . The presenter recently spoke frankly about her departure from France Télévisions , notably stating: "I was a piece of furniture that no one looked at anymore." Her comments were widely discussed when she reflected on this period of her career.
A solidarity fund and new boxes
The mechanics of Wheel of Fortune will remain instantly recognizable. Each celebrity will have to solve puzzles, use their logic, and accumulate winnings while avoiding the traps placed on the wheel.
M6 has announced several changes for this prime-time special. New game slots will be added, along with a charity prize pool and a "cave" specially created for this edition.
The channel presents this evening as an opportunity for guests to realize a true viewer's dream: "to spin the most mythical wheel on the small screen" , but this time for the benefit of causes they have chosen to defend.
Chance will obviously still play a crucial role. A wrong answer could cause you to lose part of your winnings, while a correct answer will allow you to continue playing and get closer to the final.
Miss France is temporarily leaving TF1 for M6
Among the most unexpected participants was Miss France, present with her sash during filming. The pageant remains historically associated with TF1, but its representative joined a rival show for a charity event.
The crown is currently held by Hinaupoko Deveze, Miss Tahiti, who was elected Miss France 2026 last December.
Her presence alongside Roselyne Bachelot and Gil Alma also allows M6 to bring together personalities from very different generations and backgrounds: television, comedy, cinema, sports or beauty pageants.
"Wheel of Fortune" is having a special event evening
Back on M6 with Éric Antoine, La Roue de la Fortune retains the ingredients that have made it a success for several decades: a giant wheel, letters to discover, riddles and a part of chance that can turn a game upside down in a few seconds.
For the prime-time show on Friday, October 2nd at 21:10 pm, the mechanics will therefore be adapted to transform the winnings into concrete support for the associations represented by the celebrities.
With 9 personalities, new squares, a solidarity fund and several beneficiary associations, M6 is banking on an event version of its iconic game, with Éric Antoine still in charge.
