A guest on the show "Les Incorrectibles ," the former sports commentator revealed that he is no longer contacted by radio or television stations, several years after leaving Canal+ and the various controversies that have marked his career. Speaking to Éric Morillot, he summed up his feelings in a particularly strong statement: "People have lost my number. I've become a pariah! I don't understand why no radio station or television channel has ever thought: 'Hey, let's give the big guy Ménès another chance.'"
A media comeback that doesn't come
Pierre Ménès explains that he sees no prospect of returning to mainstream media. According to him, offers have completely dried up, and he feels his image is now associated with the controversies that have marked the last few years of his career. Subsequently, other public statements, particularly regarding the French national team, fueled further controversy and exacerbated his media isolation. Since leaving the major networks, Pierre Ménès has primarily been active on his own platforms and in online media outlets, where he continues to comment on football news. Despite this activity, he acknowledges that his visibility is no longer comparable to what it was when he was one of the most popular pundits in French broadcasting.
