Just weeks after his departure from France 3, Jean-Luc Lemoine continues his comeback on W9. Having already returned to work alongside Cyril Hanouna on "Tout beau, tout n9uf ," the presenter will now be entrusted with several prime-time shows this season. The first will send the TBT9 panelists straight back to school to... retake their baccalaureate exams.
Several prime-time shows entrusted to Jean-Luc Lemoine on W9
The M6 group confirmed this new development at its back-to-school press conference. Jean-Luc Lemoine will host several special event evenings on W9, focusing on games, entertainment, and humor. This new role goes far beyond his previous role as a commentator on TBT9.
This announcement comes just days after Jean-Luc Lemoine's return to Cyril Hanouna's show on W9 . On August 31st, the former Touche pas à mon poste panelist officially announced his arrival on the team live on air. "If you'll have me, I'm happy to come back," he told Cyril Hanouna . He also summed up his mindset: "I'm just coming back to have a blast . "
The commentators of "TBT9" will be retaking their baccalaureate exams
The first prime-time special hosted by Jean-Luc Lemoine has already been announced. Titled " The Columnists Take the Baccalaureate Exam ," it will pit the TBT9 team members against a series of challenges inspired by the exam. The program, produced by H2O Productions, is expected to last approximately 90 minutes.
The panelists will have to test their knowledge through various tests and challenges, with Jean-Luc Lemoine playing the role of the teacher tasked with evaluating their performance. W9 promises "an experience punctuated by tests, challenges, and completely unpredictable situations" and warns that the host "might well be merciless with the scores . "
The first episode has already been filmed and is due to air soon on W9. The channel thus intends to extend the TBT9 universe into prime time , while giving Jean-Luc Lemoine his own shows.
Another game is already in development
The show "Les chroniqueurs passent le bac" will not be a one-off. W9 is planning several prime-time specials with Jean-Luc Lemoine, and another game show, also produced by H2O Productions, is already in development. Its title and concept have not yet been revealed.
This new exposure comes as TBT9 has launched on W9, hosted by Cyril Hanouna , with several former TPMP personalities around the table. Jean-Luc Lemoine thus returns to the world of daily talk shows while simultaneously taking on a prime-time hosting role.
A quick rebound after a brutal dismissal from France 3
This return to work marks a stark contrast to what Jean-Luc Lemoine was experiencing just a few weeks prior. After seven seasons hosting " Samedi d'en rire" (Saturday of Laughter) , he was removed from presenting the France 3 show, which was then taken over by Bernard Montiel. Even more surprising, the presenter explained that he had discovered his dismissal in the media, without having been informed beforehand.
Jean-Luc Lemoine insisted at the time that he had not chosen to leave. "It wasn't my decision ," he explained, regretting that after seven years of dedication, no one had called him to officially announce his replacement. The circumstances of Jean-Luc Lemoine's dismissal from France 3 had provoked his anger.
Less than a month later, the presenter has completely changed scenery: he's now a commentator on TBT9 , hosts several prime-time shows on W9, and has at least two entertainment formats planned or in development. A particularly quick way to turn the page on France 3.
