While the public will have to wait until December 6th to find out who will succeed Angélique Angarni-Filopon, an initial estimate is already circulating. The consulting firm Avisia, specializing in data and artificial intelligence models, published a projection on December 1st based on the analysis of digital trends.

An AI that places Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais at the top of the predictions

According to calculations by Avisia, Lola Lacheré, Miss Nord–Pas-de-Calais, appears to be the best-placed participant to win the title of Miss France 2026. Behind her, the model identifies Hinaupoko Deveze, Miss Tahiti, and Naomi Torrent, Miss Guadeloupe, to complete a trio that would already stand out in terms of online popularity.

These predictions are based on data from the X, Instagram and TikTok platforms, taking into account in particular the volume of positive mentions, the engagement of the posts and the evolution of the community of followers of each candidate.

An enhanced model for a more complex evaluation

Avisia claims to have strengthened its methodology by integrating new criteria likely to influence the competition. Artificial intelligence now analyzes demographic and socio-economic data from public sources such as INSEE (the French National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies) to estimate the potential electoral weight of different regions.

The system also takes into account the composition of the election jury, chaired this year by Michèle Bernier. Average age, gender ratio, and diversity of profiles are all parameters that complement the statistical analysis.

Finally, the firm indicates that it has added a qualitative dimension by examining the official presentation videos of the 30 regional candidates. The algorithm evaluates fluency of expression, clarity of speech, and level of language in order to anticipate oral performance during the ceremony, a particularly crucial criterion in recent editions of the competition.

Mixed results for previous predictions

Past years have shown that these models can sometimes be only partially reliable. In the previous edition, Avisia's AI predicted a victory for Miss Guadeloupe, Moïra André, but Miss Martinique ultimately won the crown. The year before, Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Eve Gilles, was elected, even though the model predicted Miss Côte d'Azur as the favorite.

On the other hand, the tool correctly predicted in 2022 the election of Indira Ampiot, Miss Guadeloupe, crowned Miss France 2023, which gave it some credibility in the national press and among beauty pageant specialists.

Official verdict on December 6th

Despite these indicators, the election, as every year, remains subject to the vote of the jury and the public during the ceremony broadcast live from Amiens on December 6th. It will be at the end of this evening that Miss France 2026 will be officially crowned, putting an end to the technological projections and preliminary analyses.
