TF1 has confirmed the return of its flagship reality TV show Secret Story for an fourteenth seasonThe announcement was made yesterday by the channel, which specified that the presenter Christophe Beaugrand will once again be in charge of the program, as in previous editions since the format was relaunched.

Launched in 2007, the show is based on a simple but remarkably effective concept: several contestants live locked up in the famous House of Secretswhere each participant must protect a personal secret while trying to uncover those of the other participants. Throughout the adventure, the inhabitants are guided by "The Voice", an emblematic figure of the program who entrusts them with missions, puzzles and strategies.

A successful relaunch for TF1

After having left its mark on the French audiovisual landscape for over a decade, Secret Story It had been cancelled in 2018 due to declining ratings. But faced with viewer nostalgia and the continued popularity of the concept, TF1 decided to relaunch the program in 2024.

This return allowed the show to regain a place in the channel's schedule and attract a new generation of viewers. Building on this renewed interest, the TF1 group is now continuing the adventure with a 14th season planned for 2026.

Casting is open for future residents

Alongside this announcement, the production launched the official opening of the castingInterested candidates can already try their luck to join the next class of the House of Secrets.

As in previous years, participants will need to possess an original secret, a central element of the game, while also being able to conduct investigations, develop strategies and complete the numerous missions proposed by the production.
