Anthropic expands access to its cybersecurity AI to 150 new organizations

The American company Anthropic has announced the expansion of its Glasswing program to approximately 150 additional organizations across more than fifteen countries. These new partners will have access to Mythos, an artificial intelligence model specializing in the detection of critical cybersecurity vulnerabilities.

Unveiled in the spring, Mythos was initially reserved for a limited number of strategic players due to its advanced capabilities. During the first testing phases, the system identified several thousand security vulnerabilities within digital infrastructures considered sensitive.

Targeted critical infrastructure

According to Anthropic, the new organizations integrated into the program operate in sectors deemed essential, including energy, healthcare, water, telecommunications, and industrial equipment. The goal is to strengthen the resilience of these infrastructures against cyberattacks that could have major national and international consequences.

The company states that partners already involved in Glasswing have helped detect more than 10.000 vulnerabilities classified as important or critical. Early participants included Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Apple, NVIDIA, and several cybersecurity specialists.

Anthropic has indicated its intention to continue the international expansion of the program in the coming months. The company has also invited the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity to join this initiative, which is generating increasing interest among public and private cybersecurity stakeholders.
