According to information reported by The Team, Turkish shooter Yusuf Dikeç, silver medalist at the 2024 Paris Olympics and star of the Olympic Games, for his nonchalant attitude when shooting, is said to have demanded a sum of 30 euros to grant a interview.

The daily contacted the athlete's lawyer, who initially asked for one million Turkish lira, or around 27 euros, before revising this amount to 300 euros.

The conditions set for the interview included a maximum duration of 30 minutes, questions strictly limited to the sports domain, a ban on discussing Dikeç's military past, a review of the interview before publication, and the exclusive use of photos provided by the athlete's entourage.

Faced with these demands, which were deemed excessive, L'Équipe finally gave up on carrying out the interview, concluding with a "Thanks, but no thanks!"
