US authorities have released new images and dozens of declassified files concerning unidentified aerial phenomena observed by the US military. These documents, published at the request of Donald Trump as part of a transparency operation announced in recent months, they bring together videos, photographs and military reports covering several decades of observations.
Among the released material are testimonies from military pilots, radar data, and videos showing objects with unusual trajectories or characteristics that are difficult to explain. Some of the footage had already circulated in part in recent years, but this new release marks a significant change in scale, with more than 160 documents now publicly accessible.
The Pentagon remains cautious about the origin of the phenomena.
The U.S. Department of Defense insists, however, that no evidence of extraterrestrial origin has been established at this stage. U.S. authorities point out that several cases studied in recent years have ultimately been found to be linked to balloons, drones, atmospheric phenomena, or experimental technologies.
This new wave of declassifications is nevertheless fueling speculation surrounding UFOs, a subject that has once again become central in the United States in recent years. Washington now has an official office tasked with investigating these phenomena, the AARO, created to analyze incidents reported by the military and intelligence services.
