Massive PlayStation Network outage: Sony offers 5 days of free subscription

PlayStation Network (PSN) suffered a global outage yesterday, preventing players from connecting to online services on PS4 and PS5 for nearly 24 hours. The outage affected key features such as online play, access to the PlayStation Store, and account management.

In response to this incident, Sony announced compensation for PlayStation Plus subscribers: five additional days of subscription will be offered for free. Although the exact cause of the outage has not been officially confirmed, Sony has expressed its gratitude to the community for their patience and apologized for the inconvenience caused.

Online services have been fully restored, allowing players to download games and enjoy online features without any hassle.
