Appearing on RTL this morning, Muriel Robin stated that she no longer has any contact with Pierre Palmade and that she has no intention of rekindling the relationship. When questioned by Marc-Olivier Fogiel about their current status, the artist replied bluntly that she no longer has any contact with him, before confirming that she imagined she would never see him again. In this exchange, Muriel Robin described her fear:

Marc-Olivier Fogiel: And Pierre, what is your relationship with him today?
Muriel Robin: I do not have any.
Marc-Olivier Fogiel: Can you imagine never seeing him again?
Muriel Robin: Yes. Yes, I think it's going to be like that, because he's someone who… I'll always be afraid of. He's someone who will always frighten me. I'll be afraid he'll hurt me. And I managed to love him because he needed to hurt people. At some point, you can't take one step, two steps… I knew, at one point, not often, but from time to time, a luminous Pierre. History was written differently for him. It's very sad. But we saw him heading for disaster. His loved ones, the few close ones, we saw him heading for disaster and we did what needed to be done. Really, I did everything I could and above all, I stayed there until the end. And at a certain point, when I back away, it's because…
Marc-Olivier Fogiel: You have good reasons to do so.
Muriel Robin: Yes, I can't.
Marc-Olivier Fogiel: But now that he, to conclude on this point, has served his sentence, you, as an artist, do you think he could also return to the stage? Should he return? Should the public forgive him? That's what we normally say, since he has served his sentence.
Muriel Robin: Firstly, those who would say that would be those who agree with the sentence, because we have heard a lot of things about this sentence, perhaps arrangements, etc. I don't know the case by heart.
Marc-Olivier Fogiel: Would it shock you if he went back on stage?
Muriel Robin: No, it shouldn't shock me. And yet, when I see Bertrand Cantat going back on stage, it's still complicated, I think. I say no at first, because I like the idea that nothing shocks me and that sometimes everyone does what they want. But still, going from that to putting yourself in the spotlight, resuming your profession, if it's a different profession… going to put yourself in the limelight, that's complicated.
