The video also shows Tiger Woods visibly disoriented at the time of his arrest. Reuters reports that he expresses surprise at being stopped, while officers discover two pills in his pocket, which the player identifies as Norco, a painkiller containing hydrocodone. According to a follow-up report, Tiger Woods later told the station that he was "not drunk," but that he was taking a prescription medication.
It should be noted that Tiger Woods pleaded not guilty and announced that he was withdrawing "for a period" in order to undergo treatment and focus on his health. Reuters later reported that a Florida judge had granted him permission to leave the United States to enter a residential care facility abroad.
