When questioned on May 24 at Mexico City airport, Fátima Bosch acknowledged knowing Giovanni Medina, while categorically rejecting the idea of a romantic relationship.
"I know him because he's a friend of my parents. There's no romantic relationship between us.", she said.
Her visibly embarrassed expression when answering the question reportedly greatly displeased the businessman. He felt that the young woman had publicly sought to distance herself from him despite the close relationship he claimed to have had with her and her family.
Giovanni Medina accused her of being "ungrateful".
Following Fátima Bosch's denial, Giovanni Medina responded on television, calling her a"ungrateful"He claimed to have given her gifts and allowed her to benefit from several advantages.
"When she received gifts and favors from me, she didn't make that face."he said.
The entrepreneur also hinted that he had contributed to the Mexican woman's journey in the Miss Universe world. He claimed to have helped her father with past legal issues.
